Pepperdine One of the Top 322 Green Colleges in North America
Congratulations to Pepperdine for being named one of the top 322 green colleges in North America by The Princeton Review.
Some of the criteria The Princeton Review looked at:
percentages of food budget spent on local or organic food,
waste-diversion rate,
school energy from renewable sources,
and school cleaning products that are green certified
Pepperdine also has a Center for Sustanability, as well as a organic community garden :)

Artickoke
After one year, this huge plant has finally produced artichokes! There are about 4 medium sized artichokes ready for picking :) If not picked, the artichoke will transform into a beautiful purple flower.
Also, we had a successful booth (below)at Earth Day, and many students and visitors visited our table for conversation and questions.
